The short version
No cookies, no pixels, no analytics, no banner. The only thing this site loads from anywhere else is the fonts, and the section below explains what that means.
Cookies this site sets
This site sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising pixels, no tag manager, no session recording and no chat widget. Nothing is stored on your device by us.
There is no local storage, no session storage and no browser fingerprinting. You can check with your browser's developer tools if you want to — the storage panel will be empty.
Analytics and advertising
We do not measure visits, we do not build audiences, and we do not run retargeting. That means we genuinely do not know how many people read this page, which is a cost we have accepted rather than a gap we intend to close with something that follows you around.
Fonts loaded from Google
The display fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Google does not set a cookie for this, but your IP address and browser details are disclosed to Google in order to serve the font files. If you would rather that did not happen, a content blocker will stop it and the site will fall back to a system font.
The site is designed to remain fully readable without those fonts. Nothing is hidden if they fail to load. We intend to self-host the fonts so that this request goes away entirely.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps short-term server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
These logs are a normal part of serving a website and are not something we can switch off without switching off the site. We do not export them, analyse them for marketing, or combine them with anything else we hold.
Why there is no cookie banner
Because nothing non-essential is stored on your device, there is nothing to ask your permission for, which is why you are not being shown a cookie banner.
Consent banners exist because sites set things they are not allowed to set without asking. This one does not set anything, so it does not ask.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics, we will use a provider that does not set cookies or track visitors across sites, and we will update this page before it goes live. If we ever add something that does require consent, you will get a real choice, with refusal as easy as acceptance, and this page will say so.
